Award-winning and British manufactured Durisol woodcrete ICF blocks are the simple and sustainable alternative to cavity masonry, brick and block, block and block and timber-frame construction. Durisol offers an easy, cost-effective and thermally efficient way to complete your construction project.

Durisol Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) can save up to 30% compared to the cost of traditional brick and block masonry.

What type of builder are you?

Durisol is the original woodcrete ICF. As the first ICF ever produced, Durisol is the most proven formwork on the market with a track record spanning over 70 years.

What is Durisol ICF?

Durisol wall form units are manufactured in South Wales from woodcrete – recycled waste wood which is chipped into wood fibre before being mineralised and bonded together with cement. The units are available pre-insulated or without PIR insulation.

On-site, the interlocking units dry-stack together and are then in-filled with concrete to form a monolithic structural walling system. The wall can be built up to 2.5 metres (ten courses) in height before the first concrete pour.

Unlike other ICFs, there is no need to prop the walls during construction as the weight of the units holds them in place.

The system is fast, straightforward and cost-effective.

Suitable for a wide variety of builds

Durisol ICF wall form units are suitable for any type of build project – from new build housing developments and commercial buildings through to self-build homes. Take a look at some of our featured projects.

Durisol meets all current and upcoming building regulation requirements. The product is BBA certified, technically approved by LABC and is compliant as a walling material with the current British Building Regulations.
